ROLE PURPOSE

The Project Assistant (Futuremakers) will assistances to project coordinator in coordinating with related stakeholder both internal and external to ensure project implementation of the Futuremakers project is completed as project timeline. S/He will play a key role in building understanding among youth in targeted areas about the project and coordinating with local government agencies and other stakeholders to achieve project outcomes focusing on vulnerable youth’s access to decent work opportunities. S/He will coordinate with internal departments within Plan International Thailand to ensure that all transactions are in compliance with Plan’s policies and donor compliance requirements.  

 

Dimensions of the Role

 The person in this position works with the Futuremakers Project Manager and Project Coordinators to implement the Futuremakers Project in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai provinces of Thailand. He/she will

 

  • Assist the project coordinator in the implementation of project activities in the targeted area as assigned in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai province
  • Assist the project coordinator with administrative tasks
  • Ensure project implementation is completed as planned and agreed with the project coordinator
  • Recruit youth in a targeted area to join the project
  • Ensure that beneficiaries join the project interventions
  • Assist the project coordinator in monitoring the achievement of project outcomes
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with the Plan’s policy and donor compliance.
