The Legal & Governance department provides professional support to Plan International, Inc. and the wider federation in relation to Global Risk and Insurance, Legal Affairs, Child Protection Policy and Governance and Executive decision making. It's role is to: 
Strengthen leadership and governance effectiveness and accountability, including collaboration, engagement and communications across the federation, and between governance and management; and
Provide additional legal, child protection policy and risk management capacity for our work in the field and in National Organisations, recognising the changing demands of our work and our ongoing focus on transforming our operations, increasing our performance and corporate accountability.
