The opportunity

The purpose of this role is to oversee the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) activities of the project “Support teachers in crisis contexts” in Adamawa and Sokoto States as per the annual approved work plan and the achievement of agreed Project development objectives. S/he is will contribute directly to relevant monitoring activities, assessments and reviews and will also contribute to all reporting and evaluation processes. 

 

About You

We are looking for applicant with Bachelors’ degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, IT and other related courses. The candidate should have a minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in M&E position responsible for implementing M&E activities of international development projects. S/he should possess experience in designing and managing beneficiary monitoring and database systems as well as implementing, and operating project M&E systems from project initiation to closeout stages. The candidate should demonstrate Knowledge of the major evaluation methodologies (e.g. qualitative, quantitative, mixed-method, and impact) and data collection and analysis methodologies in addition to experience in strategic planning and performance measurement, including indicator selection, target setting, reporting, database management, and developing M&E and performance monitoring plans.
