- OPPORTUNITY
The Country Finance Director (CFD) plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the finance strategy in alignment with the Country Strategic Plan (CSP). As a Country Finance Director (CFD), you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the finance strategy, ensuring it aligns with the organization's overall goals. This involves guiding and monitoring the implementation of robust financial systems and processes to ensure legal compliance and effective financial management. And Leading, managing, and nurturing the finance team is critical. The Country Finance Director (CFD) supports the team in adopting and executing financial standards, processes, and systems that facilitate the delivery of program strategies and accountability to children, communities, and donors. In this position, you will integral to managing all finance-related aspects, including budget management, financial oversight, and contract management. This includes overseeing a substantial annual budget of approximately €20 million.
II-ABOUT YOU
The Country Finance Director (CFD) must have 7 to 10 years’ experience with at least 5 of those years in a senior management position and Master. In Accounting, Finance, or any related field. Professional Financial/Accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) will be an added advantage. As a Country Finance Director (CFD) Knowledge of the sector and the financial management issues specific to it is an advantage and Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, Control standards, and the reporting requirements of major international grant donors, Knowledge of OHADA Framework; Knowledge of Cameroon Tax laws and systems.
