The Opportunity

The Roving Finance Coordinator provides strategic and operational financial support across all Plan International Cameroon field offices. As Roving Finance Coordinator, you will ensure highquality financial management, strengthen partner and field finance capacity, and support compliance with internal and donor requirements. In this position you will play a vital role in delivering bestinclass financial services while contributing to Plan International’s mission for children’s wellbeing.

Your key responsibilities will be

  • Lead and support finance staff across field locations.
  • Ensure partners have strong financial reporting, recordkeeping, and internal control systems.
  • Review and validate partner financial reports and budgets.
  • Build capacity of partners and field finance teams through training and regular field visits.
  • Monitor fund utilization, forecasts, and compliance with Plan and donor policies.
  • Support audits, risk mitigation, and adherence to financial standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and donor reports.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams for smooth operations and improved performance.

The Individual

As Roving Finance Coordinator, you need to have a Masters’ degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent Diploma. You will have a proven experience in financial management, partner capacity building, and donor reporting and an experience supporting senior management and coordinating multisite operations and a knowledge of project accounting and major donor requirements.

As Roving Finance Coordinator, you need to have a high integrity, transparency, and commitment to safeguarding. You will be a Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decisionmaking skills with an Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills and an experience with financial systems (SAP) is an advantage.
