Talent Acquisition Specialist

Date: 17-Jan-2019

Location: Woking, UKM, GB

Company: Plan International

The Organisation

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.

We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it’s girls who are most affected.

Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.

We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. And we enable children to prepare for – and respond to – crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.

We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 80 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed resourcing specialist to support the development of Plan International’s global Talent Acquisition strategy and delivery. Joining the friendly and experienced Talent Acquisition Team, you will primarily focus on international recruitment, supporting the recruitment of Country Level and Regional level International staff, including technical specialists, long term (12 months+) international emergency response roles and talent pipelining, including for specialisms for Plan International’s emergency roster.

This role will increase collaboration across all of the areas we support, whilst providing specialist knowledge and dedicated service to defined areas, maximising the opportunity to develop and grow relationships with leadership and external talent on a global basis.

This is a fast-paced, varied position and will involve managing all stages of the recruitment process, including writing engaging, creative content, relationship building with diverse talent pools, managing recruitment campaigns and ultimately securing talented individuals to join our organisation and advance children’s rights and equality for girls globally.

The Individual

We are seeking to appoint a resourcing specialist with experience managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns and of building extensive talent pipelines, including full utilisation of LinkedIn and other social media platforms to engage with both active and passive talent pools. Experience of recruiting to positions based internationally from a global marketplace would be highly advantageous.

To be successful in this role you will be a highly positive and enthusiastic team player with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoys collaborating with people from different cultures and backgrounds and learning about their contexts and needs. You will be self-motivated, flexible and committed and exhibit integrity and honesty in everything you do.

As Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be self-motivated and efficient and pride yourself in your excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. This role also requires the successful candidate to demonstrate creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work proactively and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
