💼 The Role

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Finance Accountant to take ownership of all the financial and statutory reporting for Plan Limited. This pivotal role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of our financial reporting and contributes to the group-wide compliance initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the preparation of the monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
  • Support the year-end audit process ensuring a smooth close-down and audit deliverables are achieved.
  • Oversee all tax related matters.
  • Implement and maintain effective financial controls across the organisation
  • Manage the Payroll function including an Assistant Financial Accountant.
  • Collaborate closely with the with the Head of Finance & Projects to co-ordinate and roll out the annual budget and rolling forecasts for Plan Ltd.

You’ll bring a strong technical accounting background, excellent attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

 

Essential Skills & Experience:

 

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and audit management
  • Experienced in statutory compliance and financial controls
  • Strong understanding of UK GAAP and audit processes
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and drive process improvements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team

Location: Woking, United Kingdom – Remote working available - you will be required to come into the office twice a month.

Type of Role: Permanent

Salary: £50,000- £62,000 per annum

Reports to: Head of Finance and Projects

Closing Date: Sunday 12th October (UK Midnight)
