The Opportunity

 

Plan International is underway with a significant technology and business change programme (Programme Y.O.D.A.).

 

As Plan International approaches completion of Build Phase and before it heads into Test Phase an opportunity has risen for a Procurement Assistant to join the Y.O.D.A. procurement team to help achieve value for money at this stage through to the completion of the project.

 

Key purpose of this role is to deliver procurement support to the Programme procurement officer within a busy work environment. This will be achieved by the role working closely with other members of the project pillars, supply chain management and other professional teams, for example the People & Culture and Finance teams to deliver identified requirements.

 

 

About You

 

You will have excellent communication, presentation & stakeholder management skills as well as have the ability to plan and organise.

Additionally, you will:

  • Have previous procurement administration experience within a fast-paced environment
  • Have experience in using SAP or a similar system
  • Be computer literate e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and be able to maintain data effectively
  • Be methodical and logical in the approach to work
  • Be able to work as a team member and on own initiative

The Global Hub for Plan International is based in Woking, Surrey which is approximately 25 minutes from London Waterloo.  

 

This will be a hybrid working role with the requirement to be in the Woking office about 1 day a week.

 

Type of role: 12 months fixed term contract

Salary: Circa £25,000
