The Opportunity


In this role, you will support Plan International's strategy and mission by providing support for Global IT services.

The Global IT Policy and best practice IT Service Management framework acts as single point of contact (logging, prioritising, escalating, & coordinating) for all issues reported to the Global Helpdesk. Additionally works to keep Plan International’s global data centres critical to the hosting and running of plans applications and provides 2nd line technical support services to all Plan offices. You will be dealing with complex technology incidents and service requests that cannot be fixed by local IT (RO/CO/NO) to ensure all Plan staff are able to go about their jobs; this means supporting all requests for help (reactive) and ensuring they are dealt with in line with agreed SLAs for all global services.



The Person

In order to succeed in this role you will need experience in a comparable service desk analyst role, including knowledge of active Directory and exchange account administration, and/or VMware/Alemba vFire Service Manager.


You will need administration, best practice service delivery and helpdesk methodologies.


As well as industry qualifications such as ITIL Foundation or Microsoft AD, and Exchange Account Administration Certification or similar would be advantageous.


Experience in a customer focused role is essential.

Type of Role: 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Reports to: Global Services Manager

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000
