Deployment Manager

Date: 29-Apr-2021

Location: Woking, UK

Company: Plan International

The Organisation

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.

We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it’s girls who are most affected.

Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.

We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. And we enable children to prepare for – and respond to – crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.

We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 80 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.

The Opportunity

Plan International is undertaking a major systems implementation and change programme known as programme YODA (Your Organisation’s Data Analytics). This consists of the implementation of three distinct applications, a data warehouse and reporting environment, and the supporting change management to ensure successful adoption. As the Deployment Manager, you will manage the change process, training and deployment of the systems in our Global Hub and in 54 Regional and Country Offices throughout the world.

In this role you will be responsible for the detailed planning and execution of a region by region deployment of YODA, working alongside the individual System Project Managers, the Programme Change Manager and the Business Project Sponsors.

The Individual

We are looking to recruit a people-oriented individual who has previous successful experience of managing major global ERP deployments. You will have excellent project management skills, with at experience in the project management of major technology driven change projects.

To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to empathise with others. You will ideally have experience of working in a complex global organisation and previous experience of Microsoft D365 implementations is also desirable.
