The Opportunity

 

As the Assistant Intercompany Accountant, you will assist in transforming the balance sheet accounting of Plan International by creating a customer-focussed approach that maximises the benefits from the ERP and M&E System implementation to ensure a simpler and quicker process.

 

In this role you will post intercompany transactions using supporting documents in a multi-currency environment whilst also consistently delivering high standards of customer service to all internal and external stakeholders. You will need to work collaboratively with colleagues across Plan International to assist with analysis to identify root causes of problems and support on projects to deliver and implement process improvements.

 

The Individual

 

We are looking to recruit an organised individual who has working knowledge of intercompany systems and experience in posting financial transactions. You will need to have some experience of intercompany accounting in a multi-currency, complex and ideally corporate environment and be able to deliver high quality outcomes consistently.

 

To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent Excel and analytical skills, have great attention to detail and communication.

Location: Global Hub, Woking, UK or in most locations where Plan International has a legal entity and you have the pre-existing right to live and work
Type of Role: Permanent or Fixed term contract if mandated by employment terms and conditions in location
