The Opportunity
Plan International Pilipinas Foundation Inc. is seeking a dedicated Project Officer to join our team in implementing a three-year project focused on driving economic empowerment and employability for marginalized young women and people with disabilities in the Philippines.
As a Project Officer, you will play a crucial role in:
- Capacity Building: Training, coordinating, and organizing community stakeholders to access decent livelihoods.
- Community Engagement: Facilitating situational analysis, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation (SAPIME) in the context of Gender Equality and Inclusion, Safeguarding, Protection from Violence, Inclusive Quality Education, Green Vocation, and Skilling.
- Data Management: Gathering and updating community and youth profiles.
- Market Assessment: Coordinating and supporting community and market assessments.
- Skills Training: Facilitating effective skills training for youth, aligning with market and community needs.
- Partnerships: Supporting local government units and partner private agencies through policy formulation and community campaigns.
- Community Strengthening: Facilitating training and coaching of community-based organizations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Education, or related fields
- At least three years of experience in community organizing and development with youth livelihood development, learning, and gender programs
- Strong knowledge of Community Organizing/Community Development, Program/Project Management, Participatory Rapid/Rural Appraisal, Gender Sensitivity, Gender and Development, Child and Youth Protection, Green Vocation, and Skilling
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and dynamic team
- Openness to conducting fieldwork in project areas
