For past three decades, our work in Bangladesh has made a significant impact, and we are now looking for a Sponsorship Programme Coordinator.
The Role
This position is responsible for facilitating sponsorship processes at the community level, ensuring timely sponsorship communication, organizing sponsorship program activities, and coordinating sponsor visits. The role also includes implementing activities aligned with the sponsorship budget, leading youth development initiatives for community volunteers, and building strong relationships with Union Parishad and other community groups.
To achieve these objectives, the position maintains a functional relationship with Program Specialists, sponsorship personnel, and the Administrative Coordinator to ensure effective day-to-day sponsorship communication and collaboration.
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, or in related field.
- Experience: 4–5 years in community mobilization and sponsorship program implementation, working with children, and willingness to stay in remote areas; ability to write reports and ride a motorcycle.
- Core & Functional Competencies: Strong communication and facilitation skills; networking and collaboration; problem-solving; technological proficiency (MS Office, email, internet); understanding of donor regulations and project reporting.
- Knowledge & Awareness: Human Rights and Child Rights issues; child protection parameters; Bangladesh’s development agenda.
- Behaviors & Attitudes: Integrity, transparency, gender sensitivity, respect for diversity, and adherence to child rights and protection policies.
