The opportunity

  • Produce good quality Sponsored Children Introduction (SCIs) and Sponsored Child Update (SCUs) for Sponsored Children, which involves data entry in ChildData  
  • Recording and keeping track of all SCIs/SCUs produced on a daily basis. 
  • Proof reading at 100% of completed SCIs/SCUs for quality assurance. 
  • Ensuring that SCIs/SCUs daily production targets are met.  
  • Submitting new SCs in ChilData. 
  • Making follow-ups on the communications that have been asked for by NOs and ensure they are done promptly. 
  • Recording all inquiries in NOI register book. 
  • Prepare monthly NOI analysis report per number received/reason to Sponsorship Coordinator 
  • Ensuring that Transmittal lists for incoming communications are produced. This includes parking of all products as per dispatch requirement before knocking off ChildData and submitting to the CO for quality assurance 
  • Ensuring that all communications knocked off in ChildData have hard copy documentation ready for sending. 
  • Sending all outgoing communications on time to CO for quality check 
  • Incoming of communications received through courier 2 days after the delivery process. 
  • Ensure that all photos uploaded are screened to guarantee safeguarding issues. 

 

About You

  • Degree in Information Systems or any related area
  • Word processing - significant printed and new media skills such as internet and intranet
  • IT competencies
  • Knowledge of humanitarian context and political, social, and economic factors affecting the humanitarian sector;
  • NOI analysis and enquiries / Data capture
  • Production targets for SCI’s and SCU’s
  • Good writing skills, including capacity to prepare logical, coherent and consistent documents;
  • Ability to work under pressure and on quick turnaround;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Numeracy and ability to interpret financial data;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English language.
