Role Purpose

Under the supervision of the Deputy Chief of Party, the DCOP – Programs the position will provide strategic leadership in the design, implementation and monitoring of the TB prevention and Control component of the GC7 TB/HIV/RSSH project ensuring that the TB related program objectives, indicators, and targets are met, and implementation is aligned with the grant goals and the objectives of the national strategic plan for TB.

Technical expertise, skills and knowledge

Qualifications and Experience

• Medical Degree and master’s degree in public health, international health, health sciences, health management.
• Demonstrated technical expertise and experience in clinical and programmatic management of DS-TB and DR-TB in children, adolescents, and adults and systematic TB case finding and TPT activities at county and national level.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: community systems strengthening, resilience, sustainability, strategic information, and GEI.
• At least 6 years progressively responsible experience working with the National TB Program on TB related policy and guideline development
