The Opportunity

 

The Emergency Response Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the implementation of programs in an emergency setting. As Emergency Response Finance Manager, you will responsible for leading, managing and developing the finance team to support the implementation of financial standards, processes and systems throughout the Maroua Emergency Response Area to enable the office to deliver on its program strategies and accountabilities to children, communities and donors.  As Emergency Response Finance Manager, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for the overall management of all areas related to finance budgetary management, cash management and Financial Reporting. As Emergency Response Finance Manager, you will lead the financial services of the Maroua office with about 10 projects implemented for total budget estimated at.

 

The Individual

 

We are looking to recruit a qualified candidate, with a Master’s degree in finance Accounting or Auditing or Finance or a related field. As Emergency Response Finance Manager, you will have knowledge of the NGO sector and the financial management issues specific to it and an knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards. It will be also  important to control standards and the reporting requirements of major international grant donors, to have knowledge of OHADA accounting framework and Cameroon finance laws.
