In Indonesia, Plan International operates since 1969, and in April 2024, Yayasan Plan International Indonesia (Plan Indonesia) became an Implementing Member Office of Plan International. Plan Indonesia is currently implementing its Country Strategy 5 (CS 5) covering the fiscal year 2022 to 2027, where the country’s purpose is in line with the global Plan International’s Purpose “to advance children’s rights and equality for girls”. This goal will be achieved by implementing quality programmes and projects as well as influencing decision-makers and key stakeholders to make the required changes.

 

The Opportunity

 

The Corporate Partnership Coordinator will be responsible for providing technical support targeting corporate and institutional donors for donor servicing functions, particularly in the area of donor acquisition and retention. She/he will work closely with the Corporate Partnership Manager to perform the tasks and achieve the fundraising target and uphold the accountability and high performance of donor servicing.

Reporting to Corporate Partnership Manager, this position will be responsible for co-developing/adjusting and delivering high performance and accountable donor servicing business process.

 

 

Accountabilities for the role

 

  • Donor Acquisition: Conduct mapping and analysis of potential partnerships with corporate and local institutions donors that strategically fit with Plan Indonesia’s Corporate Strategy and Partnership Strategy. This includes technical analysis of donors’ priority/trend of their social issues/programs (CSR priority issues/impact areas) and regularly updating the list of potential donors; establishing new partnerships with potential donors, and proceeding partnership business process with new donors/existing donors.
  • Donor Retention: Co-develop retention business process/SOP along with the Corporate Partnership Manager and deliver effective communication with existing donors to establish good relationships and pursue new or sustaining current partnerships through various approaches and engagement. Coordinate with Program Team and Operation Team to ensure project implementation reports and accountability is delivered to donors.
  • Tracking, Monitoring, and Internal Reporting: Support data and update for tracking income, pipelines periodically using the established funding tracking system. Provide reports to relevant internal stakeholders. 
  • Internal Partnership and People Management: Maintaining effective working relationships with Plan International team, these include Plan Indonesia team, Plan International Offices, Fundraising Global and Regional hub, as well maintaining good teamwork for the effective and productive team.

 

 

Requirements for the role:

 

Experience and Knowledge

  • Undergraduate degree in social sciences, economics, social welfare, international relations/developments, English Literature, and relevant field in Marketing, Sales, and Business Development. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in CSR/sustainability sector, fundraising, or similar jobs in not-for-profit organizations/NGOs/INGOs
  • Knowledge of funding opportunities especially in the corporate CSR and diverse institutional donors’/ development partners.
  • Demonstrate experiences in research, database management, and handling events both virtual and offline.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of corporate social responsibility and social impacts/enterprise
  • Demonstrated work experience in humanitarian and development settings.
  • Extensive knowledge of development and humanitarian landscapes and actors.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of gender transformative approach, gender-based violence, child rights, and inclusion.

Location: Based in Country Office (Jakarta) with frequent travel to the field.

Type of Role: 1-year Fixed term contract (PKWT)
