Job Title: Program Coordinator (Delivering Humanitarian Assistance as a catalyst for Resilience, Sustainable Development and Peace Project)

 

Job Description

Reporting to the Program Area Manager with a direct working relationship with the Youth Economic and Empowerment Technical Lead, the incumbent will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to partners working under the Delivering Humanitarian Assistance as a catalyst for Resilience, Sustainable Development and Peace Project.

 

Accountabilities

  1. Operations and program management
  2. Logistics/Finance/Administration
  3. Child Protection & gender equality mainstreaming

 

The individual

Desired skills and competencies

  • A degree in Social Sciences or related field with experience working with local civil society and coalitions to drive national agenda on children/girls’ rights.
  • A minimum of 5 years community development exposure coordinating development programs and implementing partners at a supervisor level.
  • Experience in humanitarian programming, peace building and conflict resolution
  • Experience in the use of family well-being approaches such as the Toose
