Plan International Pilipinas is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Program Officer to join our team. We are a leading child rights organization dedicated to creating a world where all children can live a life free from poverty, violence, and inequality.
What You'll Do:
- Empower children and communities: You will work directly with children, families, and community leaders to design and implement development programs that address their unique needs and aspirations.
- Facilitate community engagement: You will lead community-based activities, including workshops, meetings, and events, to foster active participation and ownership of development initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate progress: You will track the progress of our programs, analyze data, and use insights to improve our work and ensure that we are effectively meeting the needs of children.
- Build relationships: You will build strong relationships with community members, local government officials, and other stakeholders to create a supportive environment for children.
What You Bring:
- A heart for children: You are passionate about child rights and committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children.
- Relevant experience: You have a degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, development studies) and 2-3 years of experience in community development or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills: You are an excellent communicator and can build strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented approach: You are a problem-solver who can effectively identify challenges and develop creative solutions.
