The role

The Campaign Lead will be responsible for design, delivery and monitoring of Plan International’s campaigns in Bangladesh in development and humanitarian settings. Working closely with Plan International Bangladesh’s Youth Advisory Panel, youth organizations/networks and Programme and Influencing team members, the Campaign Lead will be responsible for ensuring Plan International Bangladesh is visible, engaging, respected and active through its campaign and has a well-known brand that is associated with its organizational priorities, and is working towards a clearly defined set of campaign goals on girls’ rights that supports Plan International Bangladesh’s strategic vision and change journey.

 

What we’re looking for

For this position, applicants are expected to possess an advanced degree (Master’s) in International Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or any other related field from any of the reputed universities in Bangladesh or from overseas. He/she must have significant experience of designing and delivering campaign output in development or humanitarian setting. He/she will have very strong English and Bangla language communications skills – written and verbal and understanding of basic techniques strategies and tools to advance social justice campaigns targeting a range of key audiences. He/she will have experience in community organising, public mobilisation especially engaging young people and/ or working with social movements for change. The position holder will have the skills to deliver creative, innovative work, involving cross-team collaboration, within a tight deadline. Knowledge of up-to-date digital campaigning techniques, and an appreciation of their applicability – and relevant risk factors – in different contexts is required. Some knowledge of project management approaches, and experience in delivering complex projects will be an asset.

Location: Bangladesh Country Office, Dhaka

Duration of contract: Three years contract initially with possible extension.

Salary: Gross salary with other admissible benefits like PF and Gratuity as per organizational policy
