The opportunity

This role will have oversight responsibility on behalf of the Country Director to deliver and maintain a strong and impactful Country Brand Strategy. This role will lead the development and implementation of a roll-out plan for the Country Brand Strategy for Plan Nigeria, and will lead in delivering brand training, lead on maintaining and developing operational networks for brand feedback and development. This role will work very closely with the Global Brand Manager to lead on a variety of other activities relating to the alignment and implementation of the Global Brand Strategy with the Country Brand Strategy and on-going development. 

 

About You

We are looking for applicant with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree and Brand Management Certification will be an added advantage. NYSC discharged or certificate of exemption is compulsory.

Have at least 7 years’ experience working in a similar role.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate commercial and/or non-profit brand management experience in a large complex organization. Experience in leading brand asset and brand message development.

 Our ideal candidate must have a track record of developing and implementing brand, communications, strategies and tactics that have delivered strong results. Experience in managing external agencies, vendors and managing budgets.

Preferred candidate should have good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, influence, execution skills, project management skills, computer skills, ability to multitask and English Language proficiency.
