Logistics and Procurement in Plan International is the strategic function covering all supply chain processes globally including Purchasing, Assets, Property, Transport and Warehousing across 52 countries and more than 400 sites.

Against a backdrop of external change, Plan International is working to transform how we operate, in order to deliver a bold new strategy. This includes modernising our operating model, business processes, systems and the way we work through a portfolio of global change projects ahead of the implementation of a new strategy, starting in 2017. 

One of the key projects critical to the future of Plan International’s Strategy will be the realisation of Cost Savings across multiple categories of spend. This project will tackle a number of priority categories to re-engineer how we spend, reduce costs, and ensure that we are achieving the best possible value for money.  These savings will enable us to redirect those essential resources into achieving more for children’s’ rights and equality for girls in our countries.
