The Role:

The Finance Specialist-Budget & Reporting is responsible for reviewing projects budget prepared by programme and business development team, to ensure accuracy, organizational and donor compliances in budgeting and financial planning; tracking project expenditure, preparing project financial report ensuring Plan and donor compliance. S/he is also responsible for managing Grants Financial Module in the corporate system (SAP-ERP) for the assigned projects. Another major responsibility of this position is preparing monthly and quarterly financial report to support management to monitor budget Vs. actual expenditure and follow up thereon by which help management to monitor expenditure as well as supports in the implementation of Plan programmes at Divisional and CO (Country Office) level. As a member of the Finance Specialist-Budget & Reporting pool s/he will be responsible for carrying out above responsibilities for 3 to 5 assigned projects.


What we’re looking for:

We need a self-motivated and energetic individual with Master’s degree in accounting/finance/management /Business administration with at least 04 years’ experience in finance/accounting with 02 years’ in similar role preferably in development organization. Experience of project budget preparation, review and modification with knowledge on compliances of costing for donors like AusAid, DFATD, SIDA, DFID, EC, USAID etc. Also knowledge and experience of using corporate financial software and ability to prepare financial reports for management using financial data, information and records.
