The Opportunity

 

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager,  the Human Resources and Organizational Development Specialist shall provide technical support to the development, implementation and management of Plan International Philippine’s Talent Management programs and Change Management processes to fulfil the short and long-term ambitions of the organization and to ensure that Plan’s employees, have the capability to enable children and young people to realise their full potential and to improve organisational, team, and individual performance.

 

Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

  • Design and deliver Talent Management Strategy
  • Provide technical support in designing and implementing transformation initiatives
  • The management of performance is planned, monitored and controlled in line with the Plan Employee Performance management guide
  • Design and deliver fit for purpose Learning and Development solutions in support of the business & HR strategies
  • Deliver interventions to ensure that senior and potential leaders have appropriate experience and capability as individuals and as a leadership team to fulfil the organization’s strategic ambitions
  • Facilitate employee relations and engagement activities
  • The role holder will provide support in implementing the Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy to ensure that Plan International is a safe organization.

     

    Furthermore,  this role requires a lot of energy, creativity and influence, suited to a skilled and experienced hands-on individual with experience of Human resource management in a high-pressure environment.

 

 

The Person

 

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Human Resource Management or related course. Advance degree an advantage.
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in human resources related areas such as Talent Management, Change Management, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Performance Management is required.
  • Proven skills in the full range of general HR needs including data management, occupational health and safety, safeguarding, HR in emergencies and employee relations is essential.
  • A strong communicator, both in writing and spoken communications
  • Demonstrates the ability to influence to gain the necessary commitment and support from diverse stakeholders in pursuit of organization value
  • Works effectively and inclusively with a range of people, both within and outside of the organization
  • Experience working in an international environment or international development/humanitarian organization is desirable.
