The Sponsorship Officer is responsible for operating and managing sponsorship communication at the program area level. He/She also monitors the program area's caseload, consolidates, analyzes program area production reports, and operating and maintaining sponsorship systems. This role will be based in Cotabato City, Philippines.



Further, as the Sponsorship Officer:


  • You will track and respond to sponsorship communications.
  • You will organize sponsor visits to the field.
  • You will generate sponsorship to-do lists for the Community Development Facilitators and conduct weekly reconciliation with the Program Area Manager.
  • You will support field staff in orienting sponsored children, families, and community volunteers about sponsorship and their role in sponsorship communications.
  • Plan International is a development and humanitarian organization. In exceptional cases, you will be asked to support emergency response activities in the communities in your assigned covered areas.





To be successful in the role you will need among other things:


  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science and Communications
  • Has relevant training on sponsorship corporate systems, data management, and/or records management
  • Has at least two years of experience in using basic and/or advanced computer systems. Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to relate to people from all backgrounds.
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the Philippines without restrictions. Local applicants are preferred.
